Dear parents and guardians! Serving children has always been a priority in our church. It is not just about teaching children stories from the Bible, but about shaping their character and spiritual lives. The Bible tells us about the importance of teaching children God's ways.
Proverbs 22:6"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
This verse reminds us that raising children in the fear of God is our duty. Children who know God have a better understanding of the world around them. They will be able to be a light in the darkness when they learn to follow God's commandments from a young age.
Our church offers various programs for children that will help them understand what faith is, how to pray, and how to apply biblical truths in their everyday lives. Through games, songs, and discussions, children gain knowledge on how to live in harmony with God's principles.
Today I would like to share a few essential truths that we teach our children. The first is the understanding of God's love.
1 John 4:9-10When children realize that God loves them, their hearts open to faith."In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins."
Another important truth is forgiveness. Children need to know that mistakes are part of life, and God is always ready to forgive.
Ephesians 4:32This teaching helps children develop healthy relationships with friends and family."And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."
It is equally important to teach children about God as their strength and support.
Philippians 4:13This verse reminds children that they can overcome difficulties when they rely on God."I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Finally, we always emphasize the importance of community. Children should know that they are part of a larger family of God.
Hebrews 10:24-25Mutual support and love in the church help children feel accepted and valued."And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."
We invite you to join the children's ministry in our church! Together, we can nurture the next generation in the name of Jesus Christ so that they may grow in grace and knowledge of Him.
