Children's ministry creates a space where the younger generation can find their identity in Christ.
According to
Psalms 127:3-5children are a blessing, and it is in this ministry that we can help them understand their tremendous potential.“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth.”
Within the framework of children's ministry, children can participate in various activities: from creative workshops to educational games. This helps them learn biblical truths in a playful manner, making the learning process relaxed and engaging.
Main Goals of Children's Ministry
The first goal is teaching. Children should know the basics of faith, understand who God is, and why it is important to live according to His commandments. We teach children how to read the Bible, pray, and how to present ideas about the values of God's Kingdom.
Secondly, we aim to develop community. Children's ministry is not just a form of teaching; it is a community where children can find friends who share common interests and faith.
Thirdly, we focus on support and mentorship. Children often face difficulties and challenges, and being there for them is a great blessing. Through mentorship, we instill in them the confidence that they are never alone.
It is crucial to pay attention to evangelism. Children's ministry opens doors for those children who do not yet know about Christ. We can invite them to our events, organizing various activities and celebrations that will show them God's love.
Examples of Successful Programs
Very popular are vacation camps, where children can not only relax but also attend educational courses about the Bible, visit nature, and enjoy charming moments of communion with God.
From time to time, we also organize open house days for families to come and see how classes are conducted and what activities we offer. This becomes an opportunity to engage new kids in our ministry.
