Matthew 6:6"But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly."
This verse highlights the importance of personal relationships with God. When we shut the door behind us, we symbolically distance ourselves from the world and all its worries. This is a time when we can open our hearts before God and speak to Him without interruption.

Let's look at Psalm 91:1-2, where it says:
Psalm 91:1-2"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'"
This psalm tells us that being in God's presence provides not only protection but also great comfort. This is what we truly need in our lives when we face difficulties and challenges. When we claim this protection through prayer, we allow God to act in our lives.

James 5:16"Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed; for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."
